1. Introduction

Thank you for using "Nihongo Quest" (the "App"), a Japanese language learning app for adults living in Japan, provided by TrailFusion AI ("we," "us," or "the Developer"). These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern the use of the App between the user (the "User") and the Developer. By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Eligibility and Use of the App

  • The App is intended to support the study of practical Japanese for adults living in Japan (technical intern trainees, Specified Skilled Workers, long-term residents, international students, and others). It is not directed to children under 13.
  • You may create and manage multiple in-app profiles to share one device with family members or roommates. You are responsible for the use of every profile on your device.
  • Copyright and other intellectual property rights in the App's content (questions, illustrations, audio, text, and design) belong to the Developer or its licensors. Unauthorized reproduction, redistribution, or commercial reuse of the App's content outside the App is prohibited.

3. Subscriptions and Purchases

The App offers a free, ad-supported version and optional paid features, which may include auto-renewing monthly and yearly subscriptions and one-time (non-subscription) purchases that unlock additional content or remove advertising.

  • All purchases are billed and processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play, using the payment method associated with your account there.
  • Subscriptions automatically renew for the same period unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time in your Apple ID or Google Play account settings.
  • Refunds and cancellations are handled entirely according to Apple's and Google's standard policies. The Developer does not directly process payments or refunds and cannot override the platform's refund decisions.
  • Prices, included features, and available plans may change from time to time; changes will not retroactively affect a period you have already paid for.

4. Ranking (Leaderboard) Feature

The App may offer an optional ranking feature where nicknames and scores are shown to other users. You agree not to enter your real name or other personally identifying information as your nickname, and not to submit false, offensive, or misleading content. The Developer may remove or reset ranking entries that appear to result from cheating, abuse, or a Terms violation.

5. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to extract the source code of the App, except as permitted by applicable law;
  • Circumvent, disable, or interfere with the App's payment, ranking, or anti-cheating mechanisms;
  • Use automated means (bots, scripts) to access the App or manipulate learning progress, scores, or rankings;
  • Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or sublicense the App or its content without authorization;
  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in a way that infringes the rights of others.

Violation of this section may result in suspension or termination of your access to the App's online features.

6. Disclaimer

The App's content is created with care for accuracy, but we do not guarantee that it is complete, error-free, or suitable for any particular purpose, including passing the JLPT or any other examination. The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or any loss of data or learning progress, arising from your use of or inability to use the App. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

8. Termination

You may stop using the App and delete it from your device at any time. The Developer may suspend or terminate access to the App's online features (such as the ranking feature) for any user who violates these Terms.

9. Changes to These Terms

The Developer may revise these Terms as necessary. The revised Terms take effect once posted within the App or on this page, and continued use of the App after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

「Nihongo Quest」（以下「本アプリ」）は、TrailFusion AI（以下「当方」）が提供する、日本に住む外国人の成人向け日本語学習アプリです。本利用規約（以下「本規約」）は、本アプリの利用者（以下「ユーザー」）と当方との間の利用条件を定めるものです。本アプリをダウンロード・インストール・利用することにより、ユーザーは本規約に同意したものとみなされます。

2. 利用資格・利用条件

  • 本アプリは、日本に住む外国人（技能実習・特定技能・定住者・留学生など）の成人による実用的な日本語学習を支援することを目的としており、13歳未満の子どもを対象としていません。
  • 家族やルームメイトと1台の端末を共有するため、複数のプロフィールを作成・管理できます。端末上の全プロフィールの利用について、ユーザーが責任を負うものとします。
  • 本アプリのコンテンツ（問題・イラスト・音声・文章・デザイン等）の著作権その他の知的財産権は、当方またはライセンサーに帰属します。本アプリ外での無断複製・再配布・営利目的での再利用を禁止します。

3. サブスクリプション・課金

本アプリは、広告付きの無料版に加え、月額・年額の自動更新サブスクリプションや、追加コンテンツの解放・広告非表示のための買い切り課金など、任意の有料機能を提供する場合があります。

  • すべての課金はApple App StoreまたはGoogle Playを通じて、各ストアに登録された決済方法で処理されます。
  • サブスクリプションは、現在の期間終了の24時間前までに解約しない限り、自動的に同一期間で更新されます。解約・管理はApple IDまたはGoogle Playのアカウント設定からいつでも行えます。
  • 返金・キャンセルは、AppleおよびGoogleの標準ポリシーに従って処理されます。当方は決済や返金を直接取り扱っておらず、各ストアの返金判断を変更することはできません。
  • 価格・提供機能・プラン内容は変更される場合がありますが、既に支払い済みの期間に遡って適用されることはありません。

4. ランキング機能

本アプリには、ニックネームとスコアを他のユーザーに表示する任意のランキング機能がある場合があります。ニックネームに本名など個人を特定できる情報を入力しないこと、虚偽・不快・誤解を招く内容を投稿しないことに同意するものとします。当方は、不正行為・悪用・規約違反によると判断される記録を削除またはリセットする場合があります。

5. 禁止事項

ユーザーは、以下の行為を行わないものとします。

  • 適用法令で認められる場合を除き、本アプリのリバースエンジニアリング・逆コンパイル・逆アセンブル等によるソースコードの抽出
  • 課金・ランキング・不正防止の仕組みの回避・無効化・妨害
  • 自動化された手段（ボット・スクリプト等）による本アプリへのアクセスや、学習進捗・スコア・ランキングの不正操作
  • 無許可での本アプリまたはそのコンテンツの複製・改変・配布・販売・再許諾
  • 違法な目的での利用、または第三者の権利を侵害する形での利用

本条に違反した場合、本アプリのオンライン機能の利用を停止・制限することがあります。

6. 免責事項

本アプリのコンテンツは正確性を期して作成していますが、その完全性・正確性、またJLPT等の試験合格を含む特定目的への適合性を保証するものではありません。本アプリは、適用法令で認められる最大限の範囲において、いかなる保証もなく「現状有姿」で提供されます。

7. 責任の制限

適用法令で認められる最大限の範囲において、当方は、本アプリの利用または利用不能により生じた間接的・付随的・特別・結果的損害、学習データの喪失について、一切の責任を負いません。適用法令上制限できない責任について、本規約は何ら制限するものではありません。

8. 利用の終了

ユーザーは、いつでも本アプリの利用を停止し、端末から削除することができます。当方は、本規約に違反したユーザーについて、ランキング機能等のオンライン機能の利用を停止または終了させることがあります。

9. 規約の変更

当方は、必要に応じて本規約を変更することがあります。変更後の規約は、本アプリ内または本ページに掲載した時点で効力を生じ、変更後も本アプリの利用を継続した場合、変更後の規約に同意したものとみなされます。
